Aerolíneas Argentinas Launches Córdoba–Miami Route
Aerolíneas Argentinas launched a twice-weekly nonstop service between Córdoba’s Ing. Ambrosio Taravella International Airport and Miami International Airport on 5 June 2026, giving North American travellers a direct gateway to Argentina’s second-largest city for the first time.
The new route operates every Wednesday and Saturday and is aimed primarily at passengers from the United States and Latin America who want to reach Argentina’s central interior without routing through Buenos Aires. It also benefits Córdoba residents seeking direct connections to North American and onward Caribbean destinations via Miami.
Why Córdoba Matters for Visitors
Córdoba is Argentina’s most populous province and one of its most historically rich. The UNESCO-listed Jesuit Block and Estancias — a network of 17th and 18th-century missions — are in or near the city, and the surrounding Sierras de Córdoba offer hiking and adventure activities throughout the year. The city is also home to Argentina’s oldest national university, founded in 1613, giving it a lively student culture and active restaurant and nightlife scene year-round.
Until now, North American visitors arriving directly to Córdoba either had to route through Buenos Aires or use infrequent charter connections. The Miami service significantly reduces total journey time from the eastern United States.
