Aerolíneas Argentinas has extended its international promotional fare campaign through 30 September 2026, giving passengers from the United States, Europe and Latin America — including Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Spain and Italy — the ability to add discounted domestic Argentina destinations to their international return tickets to Buenos Aires.

The mechanics are straightforward: purchase an international return ticket to Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE), then add one or more domestic segments at reduced rates. Practical combinations include Buenos Aires with Ushuaia, Mendoza or El Calafate — destinations that would otherwise require expensive separate domestic bookings. Aerolíneas is the dominant carrier on many Patagonian routes, making this the most efficient way to include southern destinations like Perito Moreno Glacier or Tierra del Fuego in a single itinerary.

June is underrated as a time to visit Argentina. The country is in winter — which brings cold but clear days to Mendoza’s wine country, where the vines are dormant and the valley roads are quiet. In Bariloche, ski season on Cerro Catedral is in full swing, and the resort fills with domestic and South American skiers. Buenos Aires itself operates at full cultural intensity through winter: tango shows, contemporary art, theatre and restaurants without the heat or humidity of southern-hemisphere summer.

Separate from the extension, Aerolíneas has also launched a new promotional campaign targeted at travellers from Europe and the United States, introducing competitive fares on the Buenos Aires–Madrid, Buenos Aires–Rome and Buenos Aires–Miami routes. Check aerolineas.com.ar for fare classes, eligible origin cities and seat availability.

Argentina requires no visa for most nationalities for stays of up to 90 days — US, EU, UK, Canadian and Australian passport holders enter visa-free on arrival at EZE. The Argentine peso currently exchanges at approximately 1,000 ARS to the U.S. dollar, keeping accommodation, restaurants and domestic transport significantly more affordable than in Europe or North America.
